Jaggo Hire

Jaggo (meaning “wake up” in Punjabi) is a Punjabi pre-wedding ceremony in which the maternal aunt or Mami (aunt) of the bride/groom carries a vessel on her head while other ladies try and shake it with a long stick with bells attached to it. Indian women take it from house to house dancing and singing, encouraging neighbours to come out and celebrate the wedding. Our Jaggos are beautifully decorated in various designs, with automatic LED lights that flash and bring out the beauty of this ceremony.
The hire comprises of 2 Jaggo, 1 stick and two bina’s (balancing rings).
